Wir suchen einen DevOps-Engineer (w/m/d), der unser CI/CD-System nach den besten Praktiken aktualisiert. Zu Deinen täglichen Aufgaben gehören auch das Verfassen von Spezifikationen, Dokumentationen und die enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Entwicklungsteam, um eine hochwertige Projektumsetzung sicherzustellen.

DEINE AUFGABEN

Infrastruktur als Code: Du definierst und pflegst eine robuste und skalierbare Infrastruktur mit Terraform, um eine zuverlässige und effiziente Bereitstellungsumgebung sicherzustellen
CI/CD-Pipelines: Du entwickelst, automatisierst und pflegst kontinuierliche Integrations- und Bereitstellungspipelines mit GitLab und Jenkins, um die Effizienz und Zuverlässigkeit unseres Softwarebereitstellungsprozesses zu verbessern
AWS-Infrastrukturmanagement: Du übernimmst die Verantwortung für unsere AWS-Infrastruktur, indem du sie kontinuierlich wartest, weiterentwickelst und optimierst, um unseren wachsenden Anforderungen gerecht zu werden
Überwachung und Benachrichtigungen: Du nutzt den ELK-Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash und Kibana) zur Dienstüberwachung sowie CloudWatch, Advisor, Node Exporter, Prometheus, Grafana und Datadog für eine umfassende Infrastrukturüberwachung
Kollaborative Lösungsentwicklung: Du unterstützt Entwicklungsteams bei der Gestaltung von automatisch skalierbaren, fehlertoleranten und hochverfügbaren Diensten und trägst so zur Widerstandsfähigkeit und Effizienz unserer Anwendungen bei
Migrationsprojekte: Du beteiligst dich an der Migration von Arbeitslasten von lokalen Servern zu AWS und nutzt dabei deine Expertise im Bereich Cloud-Computing
Kontinuierliche Verbesserung: Du bist aktiver Teilnehmer bei der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer Workflows, Prozesse und Organisationsstruktur, um sicherzustellen, dass wir agil und innovativ bleiben

DEIN PROFIL

Du hast mehr als 5 Jahre lang Webanwendungen in agilen Umgebungen entwickelt und gewartet
Du hast fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in mindestens 2 Programmiersprachen (Python, JavaScript, Ruby oder Äquivalent) und im Bereich Datensicherheit
Du hast die Fähigkeit zur Installation und Konfiguration von Software, zum Sammeln von Testdaten, zum Debugging und Erfahrung mit Bereitstellung/Testautomatisierung
Du bist sicher im Umgang mit Terraform und Docker
Du hast Erfahrung mit Cloud-Lösungen (Azure, AWS, Heroku oder GCP) und bist ein Experte im Bereich Unix-Systeme
Du legst genauso viel Wert auf eine großartige Benutzererfahrung wie auf eine großartige technische Architektur
Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und Englisch
Du bist sehr gut darin, mit Menschen zu kommunizieren, sie zu motivieren und das gesamte Team auf denselben Stand zu bringen

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) who would update our CI/CD system using the best practices. Daily tasks would also include writing specifications, documentation and working closely with development team to ensure high quality project delivery.

YOUR MISSION

Infrastructure as Code: you define and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring a reliable and efficient deployment environment.
CI/CD Pipelines: you develop, automate, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery process.
AWS Infrastructure Management: you take charge of our AWS infrastructure, continuously maintaining, evolving, and optimizing to meet our growing needs.
Environment Oversight: you manage all production and QA environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Monitoring and Alerting: you utilize the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) for service monitoring, along with CloudWatch, Advisor, Node exporter, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog for comprehensive infrastructure monitoring.
Collaborative Solution Designing: you assist development teams in designing auto-scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available services, contributing to the resilience and efficiency of our applications.
Migration Projects: you participate in workload migrations from on-premise servers to AWS, leveraging your expertise in cloud computing.
Continuous Improvement: you are an active participant in continuously improving our workflows, processes, and organizational structure, ensuring we remain agile and innovative.

YOUR PROFILE

You have more than 5 years building and maintaining web applications in agile environments
You possess advanced knowledge in at least 2 programming languages (python, javascript, ruby or equivalent) and data safety/security
You exhibit the ability to install and configure software, gather test-stage data, and debugging, along with experience with deployment/test automation
You are proficient with terraform and docker
You bring experience with cloud solutions (azure, AWS, heroku or GCP) and are an expert in unix systems
You value a great user experience as much as a great technical architecture
You speak fluent German and English
You are very good at communicating with people, motivating them, and getting the whole team on the same page
